Born July 10th 1985 at Mercy Hospital in Rockville Centre Long Island

Raised in West Babylon, NY

I wasn’t supposed to play music, I was 8th Grade Class president and scored an 1100 on my SAT’s at thirteen.  I was supposed to be a lawyer or a Doctor or something noble that smart people do.  Then my parents got a divorce and to I took up the guitar, for no greater reason than to be rebellious. It ended up changing my life.

I adhered to music because it spoke truth and I see beauty in being able to express something that resonates with another human being on a personal level.

I was inspired by bands like Glassjaw, Poison the Well, Finch, Megadeth, Metallica, and believe it or not Steely Dan.  Dave Mustaine was my idol, then it was Justin Beck of Glassjaw years later, but I always stuck to a certain type of artist.  They all combined melodic structure with raw tension and spoke about very personal and dark things. I liked the thought of artistically expressing something you could never tell anyone otherwise.

I played my guitar constantly, everyone who lived with me hated it, but I received awards in high school (The Adres Segoiva Award for Best Guitarist 3 of 4 years) and was playing in bands as young as 14, so it made no difference to me what people thought.  I also started picking up engineering simply through exposure and decided I enjoyed the hobby enough to make it a living until I could achieve rock stardom.

I Went to Five Towns College for Audio Recording Theory and met a network of people whose abilities and talents were an inspiration and motivation for my own growth. By the time I graduated college, I had immersed myself in music and the arts for close to 8 years, but it wasn’t until the final months prior to me leaving Five Towns that I met the most talented and driven musicians I’ve worked with to this day….The Senate.
